Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike has launched its website which is targeted at Public Grievance Redressal. The website is called “Spandana” and can be used for filing complaints like issues with street light, tree fall, health, revenue to civic infrastructure works.
You can access the website by navigating to spandana.kar.nic.in and click on the link which says ” To Register your grievance. Click here”. This then takes you to a page where you need to select your zone from a drop down menu. Once selected, click on the button which says “Enter your details”. Fill in the details in the form which follows.
As a end user, you can even reach out to the BBMP Control Room by dialing in (080) 22660000. The minimum response time on a complaint is from 24 hours to 6 months, based on the nature of the complaint. As per BBMP, complaints related to removal of tree branches, street lighting, garbage collection etc will be addressed within 24 hours. Infrastructure work like road asphalting will take longer as it requires administrative approval.
Once a user registers a complaint, he or she gets a sms with the status of the complaint.
